ara is a multidisciplinary design studio founded by Akash Deep Ravichandran, working between Vienna and Chennai. Established as an independent pursuit alongside his architectural practice, ara began as a space to explore ideas beyond the constraints of formal projects. It has since evolved into a studio that moves fluidly between architecture, interiors, objects, branding, and research.
